nathan wertz
MS, PT, OMPT, CIDN
Nate has been a physical therapist for over thirteen years, specializing in manual therapy since 2007. From college athletes to in-home therapy, he has worked side by side with individuals facing injuries and physical ailments ranging in complexity. His decision to open his own practice is based on his desire to provide his patients with one-on-one care that lasts from beginning until end.
Nathan and his wife, Leslie, have three children. When he’s not treating patients or managing his company, Nathan enjoys spending time with family and friends, camping, and watching Spartan athletics.
Michael Veresh
PT, DPT, OMPT
Michael has been a licensed physical therapist for over ten years treating patients with many different gait dysfunctions, pathologies, and diagnoses. He has worked in a variety of therapeutic settings and obtained his certification as an Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapist through Oakland University in 2010. Aside from treating patients at Wertz PT, Michael is currently adjunct faculty at Grand Valley State University teaching in the Physical Therapy program for Orthopedic Examinations and Advanced Manual Therapy classes.
During his off-time, Michael enjoys reading, traveling, running, volleyball, snowboarding, waterskiing, and playing basketball.
Shelly McGee
Office Manager
Shelly is a Central Michigan graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. Her career path has kept her working with people. Shelly works hard to ensure everything at Wertz Orthopedic Physical Therapy runs smoothly. She works with Insurance Companies, referring Physicians offices and most importantly, our patients. Greeting patients as they walk in the door is a highlight for Shelly on any given day.
When she's not serving patients, Shelly enjoys walking, biking or hiking outdoors, a good board game, spending time with family and travel. Shelly has been married to her husband Mark for 30 years and they have three children.
